A company will not be liable for conspiracy claims stemming from an email sent by an employee to a former supervisor that contained her ex-husband’s personal computer information obtained using spyware, the state Superior Court has ruled.

The court cited a recent decision regarding a tow-truck accident to support the holding that the company could not be liable because the employee’s actions were not foreseeable.
