Contracts are an ever-increasing part of our daily lives as personal injury attorneys.

Our firm constantly reevaluates the language in our contracts, whether it be our contracts with referral counsel, attorney-client fee agreements, letters of protection or releases. Knowledge of contract law carries nearly equal importance to knowledge of personal injury law when it comes to managing and working in a personal injury law practice. It seems palpable that attorneys would be extra diligent, thorough and overinclusive when it comes to self-drafted contracts, especially when we ourselves are a party to those contracts.
