In a rare move for the U.S. Senate, which has been crippled by its partisan divide, it unanimously confirmed Cheryl Krause for a seat on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit this week.

Her vote came just hours after U.S. Sen. Harry Reid, D-Nev., the Senate majority leader, admonished Republicans for slowing the confirmation process, even after Democrats invoked the so-called nuclear option last November.
