A critic of the Lehigh County district attorney has been asked by a lawyer for the DA not to destroy documents related to statements the critic made on a talk radio program.

Bill Villa, 60, of Allentown, Pa., whose daughter died in a DUI-related crash in 2006, has been a frequent guest on the radio program hosted by Bobby Gunther Walsh on NewsRadio 790 WAEB. In his appearances on the program, Villa has said he felt the prosecution of the case, and similar fatal DUI cases, had been improperly handled by Lehigh County District Attorney James B. Martin.
