State Attorney General Kathleen Kane is reviewing a request from Chief Justice Ronald D. Castille that she provide any sexually explicit emails sent or received by jurists in the state.

According to Attorney General’s Office spokeswoman Renee Martin, the office’s Civil Division is reviewing Castille’s request to make sure that disclosing the information would not run afoul of the law. If the department determines that the information can be provided, then the information technology department will review the emails to identify any jurist who may have sent or received the emails.
