Delaware Supreme Court Chief Justice Leo E. Strine Jr. said in a speech Thursday at Temple University’s Beasley School of Law that judges must avoid political pressures to dispense justice equitably.

Strine’s remarks came as part of the school’s Harold E. Kohn lecture series. Distinguished jurors are invited to speak as part of the series honoring the late Kohn, who is referred to as the “architect of modern-day class action.”
