Judges involved in sending pornographic or otherwise inappropriate emails to members of state agencies could face disciplinary action for tarnishing the reputation of the judiciary, lawyers said.
However, the type of discipline meted out and what specific behavior triggered a reprimand—whether it is the sending of explicit emails in general or whether those emails were sent on government computers during work hours—may vary, according to several lawyers.
