Former state Sen. Robert J. Mellow, who is a defendant in the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission corruption case, has been nolle prossed.
Attorney General Kathleen Kane’s office made a motion to drop the charges Thursday, and Dauphin County Court of Common Pleas Judge Richard A. Lewis granted the motion. The decision comes less than a month after Kane’s office offered two defendants accelerated rehabilitative disposition in exchange for a dismissal of charges.
