A Lancaster, Pa.-based thermal technology company is settling False Claims Act allegations for $965,000, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Philadelphia.
Almost half of that total, $465,000, is going toward paying for a compliance plan agreed to by the company. The settlement agreement requires Thermacore to hire a contract administrator for at least five years at a cost of $93,000 per year to oversee the company’s government contracting business, including verifying its bids and proposals.
