I am a young lawyer who has just formed a law firm with several other attorneys and the firm is incorporated. Does my letterhead have to reflect that the firm has been incorporated?
The starting point is Rule of Professional Conduct 7.5, which is titled “Firm Names and Letterhead.” There is nothing in that rule that states whether or not a firm has to indicate it’s a professional corporation. Similarly, the comment provides no further guidance.
