On Jan. 20, Tom Wolf is set to be sworn in as Pennsylvania’s new governor. Wolf will then have the ability to nominate two individuals to serve on the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania through the end of 2015, assuming that his nominees receive the necessary two-thirds confirmation approval vote from Pennsylvania’s Senate.

The 2015 oral argument calendar of the state Supreme Court reveals a total of six oral argument sessions scheduled for next year. The first will occur in Philadelphia during the week of March 9. The final three oral argument sessions in 2015 are scheduled to occur during the weeks of Sept. 9 in Philadelphia, Oct. 5 in Pittsburgh and Nov. 16 in Harrisburg.
