The state Superior Court has upheld a verdict in favor of a doctor in a medical malpractice case, despite arguments from the plaintiff’s counsel that several jurors were close to the doctor.

A three-judge panel in Cornelius v. Menio, a nonprecedential decision, affirmed judgment in favor of orthopaedic surgeon Dr. Gregory Menio. Menio was sued for medical malpractice stemming from an alleged misdiagnosis of plaintiff Tammy Cornelius’ knee injury.
