The current fiscal year may have gotten off to a slow start in terms of legal work, but many midsized firms are reporting steady year-over-year growth as fiscal year 2014 begins to wrap up.

Midsized-firm leaders who spoke with The Legal reported a good year overall in 2014, with the biggest gains coming from corporate-related practices. How a firm’s litigation practice fared in 2014, however, may be the determining factor in how its finances look come Dec. 31, some firm leaders cautioned.
