The construction of a natural gas pipeline on private property by a utility company does not infringe upon the landowners’ rights, a Lycoming County judge has ruled.
Lycoming County Court of Common Pleas Judge Richard A. Gray ruled that the condemnation and construction of a portion of Curtis R. and Terri L. Lauchle’s property by UGI Penn Natural Gas would not violate the Lauchles’ rights under Pennsylvania’s Property Rights Protection Act.
