A founding member of the former Booth & Tucker law firm has been sentenced to two years of probation with a stayed suspension for hiding expenses and sanction penalties from a client and his former partner.

The state Supreme Court last week approved two years of probation against Christopher R. Booth Jr. The sentence includes a two-year suspension, which has been stayed in its entirety, and requirements that Booth treat for depression and report to the Office of Disciplinary Counsel quarterly. Under the court order, the suspension will not come into play unless the probation is violated.
