Wendy Beetlestone, a lawyer at Hangley Aronchick Segal Pudlin & Schiller, was confirmed Thursday by the U.S. Senate to join the federal bench in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
She was part of a package of five judicial nominations presented to the full Senate. Madeline Cox Arleo, nominated to the bench in the District of New Jersey, was in the same package and the two of them were the only ones out of the bunch to be handled by a simple up-or-down voice vote. The other three were handled with full roll-call votes.
