A Potter County judge has denied Pepper Hamilton’s motion to preclude documents related to the creation of the Freeh report from the suit between the family of Joe Paterno and the NCAA.

Potter County Court of Common Pleas Judge John B. Leete ruled Thursday in Paterno v. National Collegiate Athletic Association to deny the firm’s motions to stay the case pending an appeal to the Superior Court and to provide a protective order regarding materials created by Freeh Sporkin & Sullivan, which merged with Pepper Hamilton in September 2012.
