The Pennsylvania Supreme Court’s Elder Law Task Force has recommended significant changes to the way the state’s Orphans’ Courts operate.

The task force recommended that Orphans’ Court clerks become employees of the Unified Judicial System of Pennsylvania, and that the courts implement a case-management system, which is tentatively planned for 2017. In the meantime, the task force requested that the clerks make necessary upgrades to their current systems.
