Two more judges have joined the bench in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, leaving just one more nominee to be confirmed by the Senate in its current lame-duck session.
Mark Kearney and Gerald Pappert, who were part of a package of four nominees for the Eastern District in June, were confirmed by the Senate on Wednesday evening after both of Pennsylvania’s U.S. senators praised them on the Senate floor.
