I am a judicial officer who is going to retire. I still have my judicial campaign committee open and there is still money in it. Once I retire, can I use that money to contribute to other judicial campaigns and political parties?

The rules involving a judicial campaign committee and funds are set forth in Canon 4 of the new Code of Judicial Conduct. Canon 4.4 talks of campaign committees. Judicial candidates have the obligation of making sure their campaign committees comply with the Code of Judicial Conduct.
