The Environmental Protection Agency has approved Pennsylvania’s report on the quality of the state’s streams, lakes, rivers and other waterways. The Integrated Water Quality Monitoring and Assessment Report is required every two years from the Department of Environmental Protection.

In a statement, the DEP said the report took more than 8,700 staff hours to complete and includes a list of waterways that are impaired.
