Cases arising from technological issues took up much of the Third Circuit’s docket in 2014 and allowed the court to set precedent on the intersection of the law and the Internet, among other things.
One such case that the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit ruled on in 2013 was argued in front of the U.S. Supreme Court in December, since the justices took up Elonis v. United States on further appeal.
