A police officer’s testimony about a driver’s statements following a car accident was not covered by a hearsay exception and was therefore inadmissible at trial, the Superior Court has ruled.
A three-judge panel in Arabatlian v. Platt affirmed a trial court’s decision to preclude testimony from a responding police officer about Kevork Arabatlian’s statements directly following the car accident at issue in the wrongful-death case.
