The Pennsylvania Republican State Committee has endorsed three candidates for state Supreme Court justice, but that may not deter other Republicans from staying in the race.

At a meeting Jan. 31, GOP leaders chose Commonwealth Court Judge Anne E. Covey, Adams County Court of Common Pleas President Judge Michael A. George and Superior Court Judge Judith F. Olson to back in the May primary election for nomination to three open seats.
