A federal judge has awarded $4.5 million to a family injured in Costa Rica when a resort-owned shuttle bus crashed and partially flipped over.
U.S. District Judge Mitchell S. Goldberg of the Eastern District of Pennsylvania entered a default judgment against Los Altos Beach Resort and Spa, a Costa Rica-based defendant that did not respond to the Yuschak family’s lawsuit.
