Lawyers bringing the case alleging that Zoloft caused birth defects in babies born to women who took the antidepressant have to turn over the report that their expert produced in similar litigation over Prozac, the federal judge handling the case has ruled.
The plaintiffs have to turn over the report and testimony given by Dr. Nicholas Jewell in the Prozac case that is proceeding in the Western District of North Carolina by Thursday, U.S. District Judge Cynthia Rufe of the Eastern District of Pennsylvania ruled in a short, two-page order.
