Only two of the 17 Pennsylvania-based law firms included in Legal affiliate The American Lawyer’s rankings of firms based on minority attorneys came in above the national average of 14.4 percent and none could be found in the top 50 of the rankings.
The number of minority attorneys among the nation’s largest law firms has remained relatively flat over the past few years, moving up from 14.1 percent to 14.4 percent between 2013 and 2014, according to The American Lawyer’s Diversity Scorecard.
