A lawsuit filed by the widow of a man who asphyxiated after falling into an industrial hopper full of raw sugar has been tossed by a federal judge.
U.S. District Judge Anita B. Brody of the Eastern District of Pennsylvania dismissed plaintiff Monica Segui’s case against Randstad North America, the staffing company for which Segui’s husband, Janio Pedro Salinas, worked, as well as other defendants, including the sugar company that contracted with Randstad.
