The Pennsylvania Supreme Court has agreed to hear an ex-lawmaker’s appeal challenging the state’s conflict-of-interest law as unconstitutional.
The justices on Aug. 20 agreed to hear the appeal of Michael R. Veon, a former state representative and House Democratic whip who was convicted on conflict of interest and other charges in 2012.
