A former Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission employee’s whistleblower suit has been reinstated now that the state Supreme Court has determined that a Commonwealth Court judge failed to properly consider the evidence.

The justices late last month unanimously decided to reinstate Ralph M. Bailets’ suit against the commission, its director of accounting and its chief financial officer. Bailets, who had worked as the commission’s manager of financial reporting and systems, has alleged that he was fired for complaining about wasteful practices and contracts.
