The highest-paid general counsel among Pennsylvania public companies is new to her job and new to the list of top-paid chief legal officers in the state.
Suzanne Folsom took over as general counsel of U.S. Steel Corp. in January 2014 and took the top spot on The Legal’s annual list of highest-paid general counsel as ranked by total cash compensation for the 2014 fiscal year. Folsom earned more than $1.8 million in total cash for 2014, topping the second-ranked chief legal officer on the list by more than $300,000.
