Pennsylvania Supreme Court Justice J. Michael Eakin, speaking for the first time publicly about offensive email chains he was involved in, apologized for any insensitive content and said he is fully cooperating with multiple reviews of his conduct.
Earlier this month, Attorney General Kathleen Kane, who uncovered thousands of offensive emails in an unrelated investigation, announced she had given the Judicial Conduct Board and the state Supreme Court a disc of offensive emails attributed to Eakin. Media outlets have since reported Eakin was involved in email exchanges containing racist and sexist jokes, as well as pornography.
