Transparency in all its facets—judges’ behavior, their recusal from cases and their rulings—took center stage Oct. 15 in a televised forum in Harrisburg.
The spate of judicial scandals—and how the courts can find a way forward with the public’s confidence in tow—underpinned the discussions, as the candidates offered their thoughts on what incoming judges can do to chart a new course.
