The state Supreme Court has disbarred attorney Edwin L. London for the assault, unlawful restraint and solicitation of prostitution from his clients. The order followed a report and recommendation of the Disciplinary Board that called his behavior “reprehensible.”

The board, in its recommendation, noted that disbarment is an extreme measure meant only for the most egregious cases of attorney misbehavior. It said London violated four Rules of Professional Conduct.
