More than 20 Philadelphia judges are seeking to retain their seats on the bench, and all but two have received “recommended” ratings from the Philadelphia Bar Association.
The association announced its ratings of the 24 judges making retention bids for their seats on the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas and Municipal Court. Only Judge Frank Palumbo, who is seeking to stay on the Court of Common Pleas, and Judge Dawn A. Segal, who is up for retention on the Municipal Court, received “not recommended” ratings.
