Attorney General Kathleen Kane has told the Pennsylvania Senate committee established to determine whether she can still carry out the duties of her office that it lacks the authority to inquire into her actions.
In a six-page response to a request from the Special Committee on Senate Address for information detailing the operations of the Office of Attorney General following the suspension of her law license, Kane told the committee it has no constitutional standing to remove her from office.
