Some of my colleagues spend lots of time preparing witnesses for trial. I am, to some extent, bothered by that. Is it ethical?
Of course there is no limitation or rule that talks about how long someone should prepare a witness or even prepare for trial. Preparation for trial and speaking to witnesses are something that is normally left to the judgment of the experienced trial lawyer.
