A federal judge has denied Tylenol maker and Johnson & Johnson subsidiary McNeil Consumer Healthcare’s motions to toss the bellwether case in the Tylenol multidistrict litigation based in Philadelphia.

U.S. District Judge Lawrence F. Stengel of the Eastern District of Pennsylvania issued a spate of rulings Nov. 13 in Terry v. McNeil denying summary judgment on issues ranging from the statute of limitations to punitive damages.
