On Nov. 9, while still at a four-month impasse over budgetary issues, the state House of Representatives was busy at work passing HB 380 by a vote of 191-6.
The passage of the bill, with such overwhelming bipartisan support, while it remains stalled on other issues, is a study in how lawyers can have a positive effect on legislation in their practice area.
