A federal judge has tossed claims a Philadelphia lawyer brought against Delta Air Lines after he dodged an airline employee, boarded a plane and then refused to leave.
U.S. District Judge Mark A. Kearney of the Eastern District of Pennsylvania on Monday granted Delta’s summary judgment motions in Land v. Delta Air Lines. In his ruling, Kearney determined that Robert Land’s false imprisonment and infliction of emotional distress claims against the airline lacked merit.
