Slip and Fall Injuries • Municipal Liability
Walker v. City of Pittsburgh, PICS Case No. 15-1804 (C.P. Allegheny Oct. 28, 2015) Hertzberg, J. (6 pages).
Although the city's failure to file a motion for posttrial relief constituted a waiver of its appeal, the court addressed its allegations of error in this tort action and found the city had sufficient notice of the dangerous condition to have remedied it, plaintiff's photographs were evidence of notice, the pain and suffering damage award was appropriate, and plaintiff's failure to give notice did not bar her claim. Judgement should be affirmed.
