When Sozi Pedro Tulante takes over as Philadelphia’s new city solicitor next year, he says his focus will be on improving communications within city government, and making the office an “agent of change.”
Mayor-elect Jim Kenney announced Monday that Tulante, who has worked as an assistant U.S. attorney for the past five years, will take over as the city solicitor in his administration. Tulante is set to take over from Shelley R. Smith, who has held the position since 2008.
