Suspended Pennsylvania Supreme Court Justice J. Michael Eakin on Monday submitted a pretrial memorandum ahead of the scheduled Jan. 21 pretrial conference in his ethics trial, outlining his proposed list of 14 witnesses.

Eakin’s memo also identified a pair of legal issues to be addressed by the Court of Judicial Discipline: the admissibility or relevance of unsolicited and unopened emails, and the admissibility or relevance of unsolicited emails received by other members of government that were similar in nature to those attributed to Eakin.
