Protecting the legal profession from taxes on legal services, the rise of discount legal services and declining interest from young leaders will be the focus of the Montgomery Bar Association’s newest president.

Attorney Carolyn R. Mirabile officially took over as the bar’s president at its annual business luncheon held Jan. 8. Mirabile, a partner in Weber Gallagher Simpson Stapleton Fires & Newby’s family law division and a columnist for Legal sibling publication Pennsylvania Law Weekly, took over the leadership role from Walsh Pancio attorney Bruce Pancio.
