Former Jefferson Health System general counsel and current Elliott Greenleaf executive board co-chairman David Simon has been hired as the first in-house attorney for the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Simon is set to join PCOM on Feb. 8 as its chief legal affairs officer, where he will oversee all legal matters for the college and serve as primary legal adviser to the president and CEO, college administration, senior management and board members, PCOM said in a statement Thursday.
