After a three-year hiatus, former Pennsylvania Attorney General Linda Kelly has been named as the new court administrator for Allegheny County. In that role, she’ll be responsible for overseeing Pennsylvania’s second-largest court system, which includes 43 judges, 10 senior judges, 46 magisterial district judges and over 1,200 employees, according to President Judge Jeffrey A. Manning.

Kelly expects to begin on Feb. 17, taking over for interim court administrator Christopher Connors, who has been filling the role since Claire Capristo’s mid-January retirement.
