Each year, we at The Legal take a look back at all the lateral moves in Pennsylvania to determine the 10 most important lateral hires of the previous year. Profiles of the top laterals and details about the moves will be included in our Top Lateral Hires of 2015 supplement, scheduled to be published in The Legal on March 22.
To be considered for the Top 10 list, we look at the effect the departure had on the former firm, how the lateral addition impacted the new firm and the buzz around the market when the move took place. This list is compiled with the help of those in the industry and from the use of information from our own archives. The moves that made the biggest waves are then narrowed down to make our Top 10.
