We took the two-hour drive to spend time walking through Central Park in the snow. It was a little taste of heaven—beautiful, white and surprisingly uncrowded. While in the city, we stayed at a fabulous hotel recommended by a lawyer who is a friend of mine on TripAdvisor—Le Parker Meridian. I was looking for an affordable suite in walking distance to the theaters. My friend, who gave the hotel a high rating, said that we should also make reservations at Norma’s for brunch. So we did.
