A newly elected Philadelphia judge has been censured by the state Supreme Court for neglecting a client’s case while he was an attorney.
The justices censured Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas Judge Scott DiClaudio at the start of its argument session Wednesday. DiClaudio and the Office of Disciplinary Counsel had agreed to the punishment after the disciplinary board charged him with neglect for failing to properly handle a criminal appeal while on disciplinary probation for neglecting other cases.
