Pennsylvania courts have issued three important decisions in recent months that tend to favor lenders or developers. One case concerned the mortgage obligations of surviving spouses. Another determined whether someone in the process of disputing ownership of a property is entitled to notice of a tax sale. The final decision with statewide significance involved a township’s obligation to review development plans in good faith.
